The work is dedicated to human relationships. To losses. And to encounters that give wings. To those who have gone, and to those who come to bring new life. About the understanding that a cat will never become a bird, and a bird will never become a cat. Yet the union of souls is possible. It is also about death and birth as inseparable parts of a whole.

Helen Saponova is a multidisciplinary photographer whose artistic language is shaped by an ongoing exploration ofenergy, identity, and cultural revival.
Her work blends influences from street art, architecture, collage, and sculptural forms, while creative research has become an integralpart of her process. Saponova’s images go beyond mere documentation — her compositions are layered with metaphorical depth, expressive symbolism, and a distinctive visual language that bridges the past and present. Working intuitively, she immerses herself in anassociative, dreamlike reality, capturing the fluid interplay of history and contemporary narratives.
As the author of photo-based projects such as #ArtistFromWithinWorkshop, #FLOWERCLOUD, #UnexpectedMFA, #TheBigStrategy,#aPlaceThatMatters_, and #MyDollMotanka, Saponova collaborates with cultural institutions, artists, and public organizations, includingthe Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
She currently lives and works in Augsburg, Germany.
